Bling bling comes to the iPod mini
As if the iPod mini isn’t status symbol enough for you, the Crystalmini
takes it to a whole new level.
An actual iPod mini, in the color of your choice, adorned with “One Crystal per song to represent every song you love”
is sure to be the hottest thing to hit the digital music and fashion scenes since, well, since the original iPod
mini!
Each iPod mini is unique, handcrafted, and covered with Swarovski
crystals. I was given a preview of these today and they are sweeeet.
Expected to retail for about $700 (iPod mini
included), these aren’t cheap. Then again, from what I saw, they aren’t cheaply made either. I am told that each iPod
takes about 5 hours to make. Special design requests available too - Jaguar print anyone?
I don’t usually get too excited about things like this. I’m not a flashy chick and you don’t have to know me for long
to know that I don’t do pink. My ears aren’t even pierced! But I have to admit: I want one!

I'm not sure about modphone's professional knowledge about Apple products. They might be good for phones (modPHONE??!!! not Modpod!) but apple product is totally different thing! Also, they provide warranty on the crystal AND the mini so i have nothing to worry about. Just send back if it doesn't work. Pay a little more and i got my mini covered. btw, check out the crystal ipod pics on modphone.. they can't even make the crystal straight! Laurie, I totally agree with you. this is SWEEEEET!!!!

Uhhh.....Wake up darling, the, 'apple' ipod's surface is not some different special surface containing any far differing chemical composition apart from what is used to encase ANY mobile consumer product. The crystals adhere well to any phone housings, laptop housing or mp3 player housing - in this case the iPod produced by Steve Jobs.
So on that point you are wrong as wrong can be.
The company CrystalMini has NO CONNECTION WITH APPLE WHATSOEVER and does not disclose that in effect you must either choose their warranty or Apple's Warranty - not to mention that CrystalMini does not make the iPod themselves, rather they buy them and charge you in effect for a warranty.
SO MINUS CRYSTALS you're paying around $600 dollars for a warranty that APPLE is giving you for free.
OR let's see, keep your money, purchase the iPod from Apple have it covered for $250...at Modphone where we've been modifiying consumer gadgets longer than anyone.
Cover it with Size7's and or 9's - which LOOKS FAR BETTER THAN Size 12 coverage
AND return it to Apple (the actual maker) when there is a software problem or battery problem which CrystalMini is doing anyway in your name when there is a software or hardware failure. For example, will Crystal Mini will be repairing a broken screen? NO. They'll be sending it to the Apple Repair center or buying you a new iPod. They can because of the extra $600 you paid CrystalMini for a warranty PLUS you'll just be waiting longer for it's return or replacement.
For the record regarding Coverage Issues - Modphone repairs are free.
The iPod picture to which you refer is an early sample and a very poor photo. More pictures will be posted soon.

Modphone has contacted Apple. They will gladly service iPods covered in Crystal, Diamonds, Exotic Skins etc
As long as the iPod was not opened, the warranty is not made null and void by external modification. Such as the mentioned above.

Here is apple's official statement regarding what happens when a unit it serviced......
How do I get my iPod serviced?
Easy! Complete the iPod service request form on our website. Once we receive your service request, we will send you a shipping box so you can send your iPod to us. When we receive your iPod and confirm that the service request matches the iPods condition, we will send you a replacement iPod that may be new, used or refurbished. The replacement iPod will be functionally equivalent to your iPod when new.
So in effect if you send this out then apple wont send you back your crystallized then you may not get it back, in fact you PROBABLY wont, so modphone is lying and you DO need a warranty on it.Stupid liars....Tricks are for FOOLS!

I support a new iPod product that is crucial for anyone using one in their home! The Naim Audio iSupply is a power supply that you use to power and charge your iPod. It makes it sound MUCH better! Tighter bass, smoother high-end, words are easier defined, Sound is more cohesive. They cost $169, which is pretty inexpensive for the amount of improvements it makes.

I am designer in Palm Beach Florida my website is about to be up. I charge $200 to bling your ipod plus shipping and handling that's only one color add $10 for every other color but I do whatever design you want and yes you will get a receipt and warranty if any crystals fall off I will replace them.
